We went to the Toledo Zoo on Sunday. They have it all lit up for the holidays. It was beautiful!
No trip to the zoo is complete without a stop in the gift shop!
So after playing with the stuffed animals for awhile, we decided it was time to see
the real ones...
"DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT THE BEAR IS DOING, JUST LOOK AT THE CARMERA & SMILE!!"
buncha wimps thought he was going to come through the glass after them! SSSHHHEEESH!
He was really pretty cool, just sitting next to the glass watching the show on the other side. Madi is looking a little nervous to me!
I think he's trying to pick up her scent! But isnt he CUTE?!?!
See the trees lit up behind us? Music played & the lights all changed. Keep looking at the trees in the next few photos.

Taken from inside the greenhouse. The condensation on the glass distorted the lights, I couldnt quite pick it up in this shot, but it was awesome!

I can not wait for our annual trip to the Zoo Lights. I love the pictures that you got, especially the one of the tree through the roof of the atrium/greenhouse. Honestly though, the picture of you and Duane in "front" of the tree - hilarious! I can't stop snickering about it.

O.k., I could EASILY hear you saying each phrase as the photos were displayed. I have to say I was a bit dismayed that the girls wouldn't pose for you...do kids EVER cooperate for their parents when pictures are involved?! I read the family picture...and I thought "yeah, but Duane's eyes are closed". And then right underneath there you have it written. It really is a great picture (aside from that). Your camera picked up the lights very nicely. thanx for sharing!!
