3 AMIGOS LAST DAY OF SUMMER
They didn't make the "Spring version" because, well...they just didn't look that different. So here they are on the last day of summer, with the soy beans almost ready for harvest & the trees in full leaf.

GENEVA ON THE LAKE, OHIO... NIAGARA FALLS & NIAGARA ON THE LAKE, ONTARIO, CANADA SUMMER VACATION 2009!
JUNE 20th-25th
PART 1
WARNING: As always, I took WAY too many pictures. So this will end up being a 3 or 4 parter!
Its also the reason it took me so long to add this post....too hard to go through all the pictures! ; )
Our 1st stop on our LAKE ERIE CIRCLE TOUR was Geneva on the Lake, OH. Way too touristy for us, but still nice!
Yep...WAY too touristy!! Duane wouldnt let me go in! He's such a spoil sport!! I could have ended up on TV!!! ; ) Common girls!! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!
They had had some rain before we got there. The campsite we had reserved was a little too wet, so we moved to higher ground. We took a walk around to enjoy the waterfront properties though!

We stopped at several wineries. Here is a nice bottle of wine in its infant stage! ; )
The 'LONGEST COVERED BRIDGE IN THE US' Ashtabula, Ohio. Took us awhile to find it, & Duane was a little afraid that we couldn't get the RV down to it...but, we made it!
But our favorite part of Geneva on the Lake...(for Madi & I anyway) was these guys!!! I have at least 700 pics of them alone! They are Alpacas, and wow...are they soft! And CUTE! We need to get a few of them!
When we 1st saw them from down the street...we had no idea what they were! They were about 9 months old & the owner was inside the store, where they sell Alpaca merchandise. He brings them down to the store to get attention. It worked on us for sure!

MADI'S SENIOR PICTURES
When Morgan went for her Senior pictures, it was at the school & very nice. But when Madi went for her Senior pictures...it was an EXPERIENCE! They even asked us to bring PROPS!

We all got to get in on the act! We all happened to wear blue, & Tony the photographer had me get in the pictures as well! (Even though I had been wearing a hair net all day!) ; )

ON THIS THE DAY OF MOTHERS DAY...
BREAKING NEWS: MOTHERS DAY UPDATE!!!!
My suprise Mothers day gift was all of us girls going to get a pedicure!!
Here we all are with pretty toes! THANK YOU GIRLS! IT WAS FUN!
You know...like "On this the day of my daughters wedding"? From the Godfather? Oh.. Never mind...
Anyway, this is what we did today...
We went to the Toledo Zoo.
The girls made a new friend.
We had some quality time...TOGETHER!
Oh...thats much better!
We were butterflies.
And we hung out in the hot tub.
And we smelled the lilacs.
It was an AWESOME Mothers Day! I hope all of you other mothers had a great day as well!!

EASTER AT THE CARLSONS
Duane, Madi & I went back to Illinois for Easter this year. It was at Duanes parents house.
Duanes mom always makes Easter baskets for the kids, Madi helped.
The "Family" Easter basket..for everyone to share.
Mom bought a Calla Lilly.
We had fun getting creative taking pictures of it, Madi took this one.

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO AT WORK...
Marshas is expanding their business, and so they are putting out a brochure & will be updating their website, they are also on facebook. So they asked me to come in to take a few pictures to use for this. I took about 750...BECAUSE THATS HOW I ROLL!!

And another one...they were trying to choose between about 8 mock-ups. They even had us all vote on which one we liked the best.
When they decide which one they are going to use...I'll post it on the blog.
I was pretty thrilled to take pictures for them. They wanted to give me a "by line" on the brochure, but I dont think I could handle the business it might bring my way. Besides, then I'd have to figure out how to use the camera for one thing! (Well, other than just pushing the little doomahickey!) But then again...JDC PHOTOGRAPHY kinda has a ring to it! ; ) so does JDC PROFESSIONAL FOOD TASTER or JDC's PERFECT NAP or JDC TRAVELS...
