HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN BUCKEYES

Ok..people, here is Marshas "secret" recipe!!

10 lbs of smooth peanut butter
4 lbs of butter
12 lbs of confectioners sugar
3/4 cup of vanilla

Mix all together, form into balls, dip in chocolate.

Makes 488 buckeyes.

You may want to cut the recipe in half...or maybe NOT! ; )

No baking needed!

Now just to make things interesting, I hear that my sister in law Karla changes things up a bit. Sometimes she adds raisins or mini chocolate chips (so you dont have to dip them) into the dough. I'm thinking you could do this with almond butter instead of peanut butter...I'm not sure what 10 lbs of almond butter may cost so you may have to get a loan. You could put in craisins, or use chunky peanut butter. The possiblities are endless!!! When you make some...could you make some for me too?!?!

Because I am nerdy and would actually like to try and make these...I figured it out (hopefully it's right) to be 1.5 pounds of confectioners sugar, 20 oz peanut butter, 2 sticks of butter and 4.5 tsp of vanilla. Seriously, how could these not be tasty???
